Project Description
The Spring Street parklets in downtown Los Angeles provide the community with creative and fun recreational areas while encouraging a more vibrant atmosphere. Constructed with contributions and assistance from Bison Innovative Products, the parklets feature Bison 2x2 Ipê Smooth Wood Tiles which are supported by Bison Versadjust Pedestals. Bill Armstrong and Willa Han of Hensel Phelps expressed, “It was a privilege to work with you [Bison] during the pre-installation phase to coordinate the pedestal layout for each parklet. It was such an honor to have you [Bison] join us all the way from Denver for the installation as we needed your guidance and expertise in order to be able to meet our milestones.” The Bison team was eager to help with the complicated layout and install of the Spring Street parklets and looks forward to partnering and working with other communities in the future to liven up their own neighborhoods!
