Project Description
Modular Bison Ipê Wood Tiles and adjustable Versadjust Pedestals were used in the first ever Bison Pop-Up Park in the country at the Mojo Café in San Francisco, California. The parklet, which occupies space formally used as two parallel parking spots for vehicles, provides several hundred square feet of benches, tables, planters, and bike racks for community members and café patrons. This pilot program in San Francisco was a huge success and increased sales at the café by up to 20%. This increase in business and additional customer seating, resulted in the need for additional employees to be hired. The success of this program led the way for dozens of similar projects across the city and nation, making additional outdoor seating possible at restaurants and cafés all over the United States!
