Project Description
Brent’s Place is a foundation dedicated to providing safe and clean housing outside of a hospital environment for children battling cancer and their families during their treatments. Brent’s Place is the only accommodation of this type in the Rocky Mountain Region where pediatric cancer patients with compromised immune systems can obtain Children’s Hospital Colorado-approved housing. The state-of-the-art facility provides over 16 units at no cost to the families. For these reasons, Brent’s Place needed a diverse facility to fulfill the needs of multiple families.
The expanded facility utilizes adjustable Bison ScrewJack Pedestals and concrete pavers which were donated by Bison to create a perfectly level rooftop balcony. Complete with scenic views of the Denver skyline, the outdoor balcony features a fire pit and comfortable seating, providing a homey area for families to relax and enjoy the spirit of togetherness.
