Project Description
As a company focused on the needs of patients with chronic and life-threatening conditions, United Therapeutics Corporation created this rooftop oasis for its employees and customers in suburban Maryland. The rooftop deck features Bison 2x2 Ipê Ribbed 8-Plank Wood Tiles supported by adjustable Bison Level.It Pedestals. The image in this profile was captured a few years after completed installation. Left to weather naturally, the wood tiles develop a gray-patina, as shown here. Despite the change in color, the wood tiles maintain their strength and durability.
